Hey all!

I admit, I wave having a bit of a bad day and I decided to check out the Love Memes linked on my player page from the wiki... which is when I realized the last Love Meme was in 2018! 2018! That was so long ago!

So I thought it might be a good idea to go about setting up one for 2021. :)

No negativity, please, only praise, compliments, and joy.

I'm going to start a thread for everyone, but if this triggers anyone's anxiety, I can remove your entry from the thread, no worries.

Okay, look. There's a lot I could say here. Like, a LOT. I'll try and keep it reasonable, though.

Frito, friend, you're phenomenal. There's just something about you that not only soothes frazzled nerves but encourages open conversation and a willingness to try new things. Half of what I've ever gotten up to in XP can be directly traced back to you and your ideas, your enthusiasm for my ideas, your cheerleading, your ability to step in or step up right when I'm at my wit's end/about to give up on a thing. You just have such presence, but online and IRL. I'm glad I know you. <3

OMG. HI. you are awesome and I have no brain for coherence, but you are awesome in all ways. I have loved both your characters since the dawn of XP and need to interact with them more.

I could write pages here, let's be real.

I told Dex that he challenges me more than even you, but it's a very close thing. You keep me from settling into a rut. You remind me to put effort into the game when I'm struggling. You write two vastly different characters whose interactions with mine never get stale. You are a wellspring of ideas and creativity, and I'm sorry for the times when my slowness or silence makes you feel like you're too much. Because you're not. You are so much, but I wouldn't want you to be any less than you are. <3

You have been there for me more times than I can count and you are so encouraging and excited about this game and all of our ideas.

I adore how ready you are to help out and how gleeful you are not just about getting to do cool things with your characters but when others get to do cool things as well.

Honestly, there’s a reason Kyle is the favourite of pretty much every one of my characters. I like to imagine he gives the best, most comforting and safe feeling hugs. Like as long as he’s there, the world is a lot less dark and horrifying.

And MA. Jubilee respects the hell out of her, even if my girl would deny the hell out of that. She cares about MA’s opinion and it’s why she can be hurt by her. She will never show that, but it’s definitely why they were such good friends in the alter world. A life without some of the early distrust was always going to see them as good friends.

Man, I have spent years beating your characters to shit. I mean, every opportunity I have had to do something awful to MA and Kyle, I have not only taken it but doubled down on it to make it worse. I tried to take MA's eye back in 2008 the first time!

But, something a lot of people don't know, is that I wouldn't be in this game without you. I was the start of the big transition of comic fanfic writers to XP, but I also (shockingly) pissed off a lot of the RP stalwarts with my ideas about canon logs, creating plots and the like. So they kicked my ass out. And I walked away. Months later, at DexCon, I kept fielding questions about XP ideas and pitching solutions and plots. Enough that Frito came to me and said if you want to come back, tell me what it would take.

A few months later, lured in by Jazz, I told Frito I wanted back in. And she faced down everyone in order to meet my terms - people who -hated- me, and she made them bend to my demands. I would literally not be here without you.

Your crusade toward plots this year has been very inspiring, and I have never felt bad about going to you with an idea or a question. I appreciate your kindness and willingness to collaborate so very much.

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm. It's been a tough thing to keep in this game over the years, especially the last few, but even when things you never slowed your vibrant conversation and replies. I really love and have come to look forward to evening chats in the Discord and you're a huge part of that.

You've kept MA for SO LONG with such a cohesive story line that I'm honestly jealous, I don't know how you do it. But seeing her grow and evolve in such a natural way has been so inspiring.

I would love to write with you more and really hope we can plot our girls together. <3

PS. We love Kyle too, btw. He's a delight and perfect.

Fritooooooooo. It's still hard to believe sometimes that I've been lucky enough to meet you in person, even though it's been a while. Time is weird like that.

Thank you for all you've done for the game, and the people in it as well; you're definitely appreciated and seen when you're trying to get things moving and more active, even though I kinda am not helping in that regard. ^^;;

Your characters are also amazing, and I cannot fathom having one character as well-developed as either of yours, let alone two. It's pretty awe-inspiring and you've made them both yours, hands down. I know we haven't logged much but hopefully we'll get a chance to do that soon. :)

I love you lots and especially when you encourage my wild ideas without letting them go full over-the-top theatre kid, as I sometimes do. Kyle is a fluffy DELIGHT and Darcy would kill people to keep him happy, and I am very excited that MA got her lawyer. :p
