Love Meme 2021

Hey all!

I admit, I wave having a bit of a bad day and I decided to check out the Love Memes linked on my player page from the wiki... which is when I realized the last Love Meme was in 2018! 2018! That was so long ago!

So I thought it might be a good idea to go about setting up one for 2021. :)

No negativity, please, only praise, compliments, and joy.

I'm going to start a thread for everyone, but if this triggers anyone's anxiety, I can remove your entry from the thread, no worries.

I really enjoy how Jean is so powerful, but also balanced and can also be vulnerable. I recently really enjoyed the Breakdown plot.

I think I've written more with you since you came into the game than anyone else, and I don't think it's particularly close. You've always been an important writer, plotter and co-creator, and you've done a ton to force me out of my comfortable zone, and I don't say that lightly. Frankly, I used your character to blow up the literal world and you trusted me enough to go along with it. If that's not trust, I don't know what is.

Ah, Mack. What can I say? You’re such a presence in XP, not just because you play one of the most known/recognizable comic characters out there, but because you’re always so willing to throw your girls into things. Some of the logs we did between Wade and Molly early on are amongst my favorites and I admit I miss the easy friendship we had between P1 JPB and Jean. I’m living the friendship between Jean and Terry now, though, and can’t wait to see how everything you’ve got coming down the pipeline for Jean pans out.

how come your characters BOTH have 3 names? is it because you're so special? It must be that! I love your girls and how they are so uniquely distinct and interesting! Jean is especially easy to make boring or bland (thanks comics!) but yours is always unqiue and fun!

I have a lot of feelings in your general direction, but without getting too gush, I'm really glad we're friends. Thank you so much for everything you do, in and out of game. You've been such an amazing friend to both Bry and I, and the game and my life would be a hell of a lot emptier if we hadn't met.

We're going to have to figure out a way to get at least one of your ladies and Felicia to interact regularly. I love the way you build relationships, and the arcs you've built for your characters. And I'm greedy and would love to be part of it!

Mack! *smooshes* I can't wait until the border opens and you can come visit again!

Aside from being a truly awesome person, you're also one of my favourite people to log with. Jean and Molly are such layered characters, each with a distinct voice and personality. You also balance that line between being a Big Damn Hero and not overshadowing the other characters in a scene, which can be so tricky in roleplaying.

Maaaaaaaaaaack. You're such an amazing person and I'm glad that I know you. You were super helpful to a wandering Canadian as I fumbled my way through Texas and I'll always be grateful for that.

And then there's all the fantastic stuff you do for XP... the graphics, the videos, the music. Oh, and the characters you play, which are so awesome to read and integral to XP, Jean in particular. I know we haven't written together much lately, but I hope that'll chance in the near future. :)

Mack! You are so beyond awesome. Both as a person and a writer. Your Jean has always been so nuanced and human and her interactions with all my characters are so different and I love that.

I love that your so willing to put your character out there and that you make opportunities to do cool and new things.
