Hey all!

I admit, I wave having a bit of a bad day and I decided to check out the Love Memes linked on my player page from the wiki... which is when I realized the last Love Meme was in 2018! 2018! That was so long ago!

So I thought it might be a good idea to go about setting up one for 2021. :)

No negativity, please, only praise, compliments, and joy.

I'm going to start a thread for everyone, but if this triggers anyone's anxiety, I can remove your entry from the thread, no worries.

I wish we saw more of you! I remember back in the dark ages playing with you in....whatever the game was. I can describe it. I cannot remember the name. That is not important. The important thing is that you are a great writer and Kitty is amazing and we need to log!

Bobby is a delight and we need more of you! I am saying this to like, everyone, because it is true. and I need to log more!

I think of everyone, you have good reason not to be around much, so I will not ask you to try. but you are loved and Wanda is amazing and I had such fun writing Matt with her in the biker plot!!!

The aesthetic you have built around Fi is just...amazing. Between the graphic posts, the asides and comments, her biting wit in logs... I love it.

Look, JPC wouldn't have a weird crush on Scott if I didn't enjoy the hell out of the way you play him. He's this delightful dork, and very distinct from Stephen or Sue.

Doug and Emma's bond is one of the things I treasure most in this game. It's weird, and not what anyone expects, and even sometimes not what -they- expect. And it all comes of the many facets (haha, diamond pun) you give to Emma.

That you have managed to make Quentin Quire, a character I am not always the biggest fan of, a delight and interesting in XP is a testament to your skill as a writer, in making them vibrant and having their own quirks and nuance.

Also I will forever love Jay's "no, AH'M THE QUEER GUTHRIE" line. <3

Doug misses Wade SO MUCH. Like, he can live without his right hand more than he can live without Wade. But even if Wade is mostly gone for good, I'm so glad you're back and having fun. I'll just have to make up for it with Doug and Clinto, Vodak Bros.

You are one of my Fae Kids, and it always delights me to write with you, whether it's 14 telling Doug he's an idiot, Alison being adorably dorky, or your pulpy take on Zemo. Your creativity, both in the game and out, never ceases to amaze me.

You challenge me harder than anyone, and that's including my spouse. You push me to be a better writer, to dig deeper and not take a lazy way out of a situation, and you've been a dear friend for better than half my life. Almost all of the best writing I have done (in Day Zero, Genosha, Dark Phoenix, and plenty of others) is because of the platform you constructed in logs giving me a place to stand. I will be forever grateful for that.

You're a dear friend and a wonderful writer. You've done a lot as a mod, and your approach to Hope, and her views of the world, do a lot to stretch my own approach to things with Doug. Sooraya's quiet strength is so distinct from Hope, as well, and I enjoy them both.

I could write pages here, let's be real.

I told Dex that he challenges me more than even you, but it's a very close thing. You keep me from settling into a rut. You remind me to put effort into the game when I'm struggling. You write two vastly different characters whose interactions with mine never get stale. You are a wellspring of ideas and creativity, and I'm sorry for the times when my slowness or silence makes you feel like you're too much. Because you're not. You are so much, but I wouldn't want you to be any less than you are. <3

God, I love when Kitty pops up. She's always delightful, and the interactions are so much fun. I just want more! :)

I really like what we've seen of Alani so far, and I'm curious for what you might have in store. :)

I love the dimension you bring to Wanda. It's so easy to just narrow focus on certain aspects but you make her SO MUCH. It's a delight to read logs with her in them.

I LOVE YOU and I really enjoy interacting with your characters and reading logs they're in.

i'm glad you're back. i like interacting with terry, and i can't wait to punch clint in the shoulder and scold him for being shitty about keeping in contact for so long.

You! You’re amazing. Just, genuinely a warm and thoughtful person who I’m glad I’ve gotten to know over the years.

And you are without doubt a brilliant descriptive writer. And our girls! I adore their friendship. Felicia is so important to Jubilee. She would go through fire for her.

AJ! I love your Stephen so much. He’s one of the few people Maya can stand for any length of time. I totally want to do more writing with those two when you’re back.

And Scott! I feel like I haven’t done near enough to have my characters interact with him, and I definitely want to change that.

Hey Al. It’s been a hell of a year, hey? I miss your face!

Artie is one of my favourite conflict characters for Laurie to argue with. He truly never backs down which is brilliant when you want to add a little drama.

And you yourself are so easy to write with. It’s a genuine pleasure to log with you. Even if I am slow as a wet week these days

Amanda. We have known each other for such a long time and for the whole of that time I have been in awe of your writing skill.

You have such a way with words, and your mastery of character is bar none.

I am proud to call you my friend, and to write with you. You always bring your best to everything you do. Thank you for giving us that gift.

It’s been a really crappy few years with COVID but I honestly miss your writing and your presence about the place.

I love QQ so much in relation to his interaction with Maya. They’re such prickly characters that it’s awesome to just throw them at each other and see what happens.

And Miles is just such a laid back presence that he makes Maya feel safe just by being nearby.

My girls haven’t had much to do with Everett but I admit I’d love to do some interactions between him and Jubilee just for old time Gen-X sake.

Cai! I’m so looking forward to working on the Maya as Terry’s PA stuff we’ve been talking about and I’m totally looking forward to seeing your bring Clint back.

We always do such awesome work together and you’re just such a genuinely kind person as well that you’re a joy to write with.

I’ve done a few of these, and sung your praises in each of them but honestly, you deserve every word.

You push me to do more, and to take that next step with my characters. You are encouraging and a hard arse in just the right amounts so that I don’t take the easy way out.

You challenge me to be my best writing self and when I’m not sure where to go, you give me options or help me work my way toward an answer without taking over.

You do so much for this game and I thank you for the effort and care you put into it. You genuinely give a shit about wanting to see everyone do well and enjoy themselves. It doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated.
