Hey all!

I admit, I wave having a bit of a bad day and I decided to check out the Love Memes linked on my player page from the wiki... which is when I realized the last Love Meme was in 2018! 2018! That was so long ago!

So I thought it might be a good idea to go about setting up one for 2021. :)

No negativity, please, only praise, compliments, and joy.

I'm going to start a thread for everyone, but if this triggers anyone's anxiety, I can remove your entry from the thread, no worries.

Aisy, you have such a solid grasp of Fi, it's delightful. Writing with you is always fun and wonderful, given her snark... and she's so fiercely competent! I love it. I can't wait to get Clint back IG so he and Felicia can get right back to their in-mission banter. <3

Amanda, you have such an amazing way of writing Emma - she's fun and playful in one log (hi, tiaras and mugs) and then totally badass in another (any mission log she's ever in - EVER). She's nuanced and careful and you play her with such poise - I love reading her logs, I love logging with you. :) I can't wait to see how Terry and Emma's friendship plays out.

Ben, light of my life, co-conspirator, all around delightful human being who doesn't make fun of me for my fruity taste in wine! <3 I've missed writing with you so, so much and I'm so looking forward to getting to write with you again! The knowledge you have regarding comics in general but your guys in particular is amazing and I know if I ever have a question, I can ask you and you'll either know the answer or find it for me really, really quickly. :P

I've logged with all three of your boys and they're so distinct - so vibrantly independent of one another and so clear in their goals. I love them to bits. :) Can't wait to get back into things more and con you into logging with me again.

I am SO glad you're back - in the short time you've been back we've kicked off plot ideas, thrown around team ideas, you're one of my favorite people to bounce ideas and just little bits and bobs off of, and you've already done so much to get people active and visible and I cannot even just put into words how happy I am that you're back with us.

Chris, my friend, you're go genuinely, wonderfully helpful. I love that I've gotten to know you better recently and that I've discovered we have so much in common! Whether it's helping me figure out Skyrim mods or poking at plot ideas, you're so willing to toss your time and effort into assisting others that it honestly surprised me the first time (the Skyrim mods, omg, those took three days).

You play Fourteen beautifully and, while I've never logged with you as much as I would've liked, we've got some good stuff potentially in the works for Terry and Alison - I can't wait. Thank you for being you and just generally awesome. :)

Look, I know I said it onlist, but Dex. Your brain. I just cannot sometimes. :) The time and effort you put into things like plots, your willingness to discuss minutiae, the kindness and friendliness you offer on the daily, the advice you give - you're honestly a wonder. I think XP's really been made better for having you in it all these years and I think that my time in it specifically has been as well. I look forward to plotting with you in the future and, if I ever figure out how to do random logs again, I'm immediately stealing one or both of your boys for it because they're delightful. Thank you, for both your commitment to XP as a whole and your willingness to share your brilliance with us in general.

It's always so nice, talking with you. You've got such an abundance of enthusiasm for this game and it really shines through. I love that you're always willing to throw your girls into things. I've enjoyed seeing the progress you've made with Hope and I can't wait to see where you take Sooraya re: leadership. :)

Okay, look. There's a lot I could say here. Like, a LOT. I'll try and keep it reasonable, though.

Frito, friend, you're phenomenal. There's just something about you that not only soothes frazzled nerves but encourages open conversation and a willingness to try new things. Half of what I've ever gotten up to in XP can be directly traced back to you and your ideas, your enthusiasm for my ideas, your cheerleading, your ability to step in or step up right when I'm at my wit's end/about to give up on a thing. You just have such presence, but online and IRL. I'm glad I know you. <3

Jen, wine-friend and all around excellent person. I miss your face. The Winestore misses your face, too. The guy actually asked about you the other day. :) That said, I miss writing with you, too. I'm so excited to see you in the coming months, but I'm also super psyched to get to continue writing stories with you. I miss Wanda's snark - she needs to meet Terry when we're both in slightly more sane places. :)

You tenacity is something I've long admired and I honestly can't wait to see what your plans are for XP in the future. <3

Over the years writing together you've always risen to the challenge with your characters. I'm hoping this refresh will give you a second wind, because I know how good you are as a writer and a player, and I'd love to see more, especially with Kurt being one of the elder statesmen of the X-Men.

I really enjoy how Jean is so powerful, but also balanced and can also be vulnerable. I recently really enjoyed the Breakdown plot.

See, you thanked me for thinking of you in Siege Perilous, and I literally high-fived Rossi in the pub when she told me you said yes to the log. I know you're busy, but if there's anything I can do to get more Pixie, especially as an X-Man, you let me know, because not only is the character a delight, but your writing is a much desired addition to any project.

I think working with you is only predated by Seraph and Tap, so we've been stealing horses together a long time. I've mentioned this with others, but I love to push people, and you've always been the first to push back and not only show me up, but build on an idea to make it better and your own.

Hardly shocking, but if you told me years ago how our writing would end up becoming intertwined, I would have laughed. But the Gabe/Kevin relationship is one of my favourite parts in the game, and I love how you've been willing to take every curve ball I've intentionally thrown you in logs and plots and run with them, carving out new directions and ideas. You're the best, man.

I've often told the story how you saved 'Sonnatorrek' from being a train wreck to instead being one of my strongest plots, but just recently, you brought authenticity to SoM with Callisto's wonderful characterization. I'm really hoping you find a place with the XFI crew, because I've always enjoyed your writing and your ability to surprise, and I'd love to read a lot more.

I mean, the usual refrain is that we need to see more of Meggan, but it's true. The quality of your writing is obvious, and if we can find a way to help encourage more, let me know, because I want to read it. There's a real empathetic and evocative quality to your writing which brilliantly mirrors the character.

I love fearless players with their characters and you have made it clear you don't want things easy. I've been really impressed with your work with her, as well as past work with Lorna and Tandy, and I'm anticipating great things from you now that you're back.
