It's amusing that Jean-Phillipe, the rebellious former Brotherhood member, should wind up being a foundational sort of character, but his relationship with Angelo and his role as an X-Man have made him someone to rely on. And Doug's journey over what's been a scary amount of time has been fascinating to watch - you're not afraid to make the hard decisions and do horrible things to your character, and you're equally happy to support others in their moments of awesome.
