Hey all!

I admit, I wave having a bit of a bad day and I decided to check out the Love Memes linked on my player page from the wiki... which is when I realized the last Love Meme was in 2018! 2018! That was so long ago!

So I thought it might be a good idea to go about setting up one for 2021. :)

No negativity, please, only praise, compliments, and joy.

I'm going to start a thread for everyone, but if this triggers anyone's anxiety, I can remove your entry from the thread, no worries.

Ben, light of my life, co-conspirator, all around delightful human being who doesn't make fun of me for my fruity taste in wine! <3 I've missed writing with you so, so much and I'm so looking forward to getting to write with you again! The knowledge you have regarding comics in general but your guys in particular is amazing and I know if I ever have a question, I can ask you and you'll either know the answer or find it for me really, really quickly. :P

I've logged with all three of your boys and they're so distinct - so vibrantly independent of one another and so clear in their goals. I love them to bits. :) Can't wait to get back into things more and con you into logging with me again.

I've gotten to see you write six characters now, and each one has been a whole person, distinct and unique with a different voice and even your writing style adapts around who they are. You are full of clever moments to keep your characters fresh and interesting and SO good at crafting relationships - both romantic and sexual and friendly and professional that should not make sense but DO once you get into the meat of it.

That you have managed to make Quentin Quire, a character I am not always the biggest fan of, a delight and interesting in XP is a testament to your skill as a writer, in making them vibrant and having their own quirks and nuance.

Also I will forever love Jay's "no, AH'M THE QUEER GUTHRIE" line. <3

It’s been a really crappy few years with COVID but I honestly miss your writing and your presence about the place.

I love QQ so much in relation to his interaction with Maya. They’re such prickly characters that it’s awesome to just throw them at each other and see what happens.

And Miles is just such a laid back presence that he makes Maya feel safe just by being nearby.

My girls haven’t had much to do with Everett but I admit I’d love to do some interactions between him and Jubilee just for old time Gen-X sake.

I know you've really busy, which is a shame, because every time there's a plot with QQ or Miles in it, you absolutely manage to surprise, intrigue or impress with your take and your logging. Both characters present very unique challenges and you handle both with skill and aplomb.

You logged siblings with me so always a dear place in my heart, but your Miles is just so. WHOLESOME. And genuine? But still a real person, with real issues and dumb mistakes. I have always loved any time I got to log with you, and any time we converse in general.

I love the relationship between Bobby and Miles, and the friendship/rivalry we had going between Miles and Nica, two high achievers both wanting to be the best hero. <3 And Quentin... ah, our snarky boy who doesn't take any kind of crap and who can be a total badass. I'd love to see more with Ev, too - the triangle between him, Wanda and Clint was just getting interesting!

But I also wanted to thank you for being a great mod and a great person. It's been a pleasure to have you back. :)

ANYWAY. You're awesome and I miss writing with you, which is totally on me being a horrible RPer/writer these days. I've been like this in the past for sure, and one thing I do love is that when we have written together after those (frequent!) gaps of mine, it always is easy and fun to do. Also, Bobby and Miles just makes me happy. <3

I love Miles and QQ and the bits of Everett we've seen. (And actually, if you've got time after the first of the year, I might have a log for Ev, because Darcy's going to need a read on her powers and who better???)

Anyways. Logs and posts with your characters are amazing. They're all so different and you keep them interesting and dimensional, which can be a challenge. I love that.
